2. Your Rights

In accordance with the applicable data protection law, in particular the EU Data Protection Basic Regulation (DSGVO), you have extensive rights vis-à-vis the person responsible with regard to the processing of your personal data, about which we would like to inform you below. You have the right to do so:

• to request information about your personal data processed by us in accordance with Art. 15 DSGVO. In particular, you may request information on the processing purposes, the category of personal data, the categories of recipients to whom your data has been or will be disclosed, the planned storage period, the existence of a right to rectification, deletion, restriction of processing or objection, the existence of a right of complaint, the origin of your data, unless it has been collected from us, as well as the existence of an automated decision making process including profiling and, if applicable, meaningful information on its details;
• in accordance with Art. 16 DSGVO to immediately request the correction of incorrect or incomplete personal data stored by us;
• to demand the deletion of your personal data stored by us in accordance with Art. 17 DSGVO, unless the processing is necessary for the exercise of the right to freedom of expression and information, for the fulfilment of a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest or for the protection of the personal data of third parties.
• is necessary for the assertion, exercise or defence of legal claims;
• to demand the restriction of the processing of your personal data in accordance with Art. 18 DSGVO if the accuracy of the data is disputed by you, the processing is unlawful but you refuse its deletion and we no longer need the data, but you need it to assert, exercise or defend legal claims or you have objected to the processing in accordance with Art. 21 DSGVO;
• in accordance with Art. 20 DSGVO to receive your personal data which you have provided to us in a structured, common and machine-readable format or to request transmission to another responsible person;
• in accordance with Art. 7 para. 3 DSGVO to revoke your consent once given to us at any time. The consequence of this is that we may no longer continue the data processing based on this consent for the future, and
• to complain to a supervisory authority pursuant to Art. 77 DSGVO. As a rule, you can contact the supervisory authority of your usual place of residence or workplace or of our practice. 3. Data collection when visiting our website

a) Cookies

This website uses so-called cookies. Cookies do not damage your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies are used to make our website more user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer by your browser. Some of the cookies we use are so-called “session cookies”. They are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your terminal until you delete them. These cookies enable us to save your browser during your next visit.

b) Server-Log-Files

If you only use our website for information purposes, i.e. if you do not provide us with any other information, we only collect the personal data that your browser transmits to our server (so-called server log files). When you visit our website, we collect the following data, which is technically necessary for us to display our website to you and to guarantee stability and security:

The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. f DSGVO. Our legitimate interest arises from the above-mentioned purposes of data collection. This data will not be merged with other data sources.

c) Contact by e-mail, telephone, fax or contact form

If you contact us by e-mail, telephone, fax or contact form, your request including all personal data (name, request) will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of processing your request. Personal data will also be transmitted to HubSpot (see No. 10) within the framework of an order processing contract pursuant to Art. 28 DSGVO within the scope of contacting us via the contact form (see Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO). In all other cases, processing is based on your consent (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a DSGVO) and/or on our legitimate interests (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f DSGVO).

The data you send us via contact requests will remain with us until you request deletion, revoke your consent to storage or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been processed). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular statutory retention periods – remain unaffected.

c) Newsletter / Blog

We offer on our site the possibility to subscribe to our blog. This is done by entering your e-mail address and the confirmation afterwards (double-opt-in). Your e-mail address will be transmitted to the newsletter provider Sendinblue (see no. 10) within the framework of a contract processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 DSGVO and will be processed there. Your e-mail address will not be stored and processed in our systems. Further data is not required for this service.

11. External Hosting

This website is hosted by an external service provider on servers in Germany (Hoster).Hoster is Raidboxes. Personal Data collected on our website is stored on the host’s servers. This may include IP addresses, contact requests, meta and communication data, contract data, contact data, names, web page accesses and other data generated by a website.

The host is used on the basis of an order processing contract and serves the purpose of initiating or fulfilling contracts with our potential and existing customers (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b DSGVO) and is provided by a professional provider (Art.6 Para. 1 lit. f DSGVO) in the interest of providing our online services securely, quickly and efficiently.

Our hoster will only process your data to the extent that this is necessary to fulfil its performance obligations and follow our instructions with regard to this data.

12. Our Social-Media-Auftritte

a) Data processing through social networks

We maintain publicly accessible profiles on social networks. The social networks we use in detail can be found below. Social networks such as Facebook, Google+ etc. can usually analyze your user behavior comprehensively when you visit their website or a website with integrated social media content (e.g. like buttons or advertising banners). Visiting our social media sites triggers numerous processing processes relevant to data protection. In detail:

If you are logged into your social media account and visit our social media presence, the operator of the social media portal can assign this visit to your user account. However, your personal data may also be collected if you are not logged in or do not have an account with the respective social media portal.

In this case, this data collection takes place, for example, via cookies that are stored on your terminal device or by recording your IP address.

With the help of the data collected in this way, the operators of social media portals can create user profiles in which your preferences and interests are stored. In this way, interest-related advertising can be displayed inside and outside the respective social media presence. If you have an account with the respective social network, interest-related advertising can be displayed on all devices on which you are logged in or were logged in.

Please also note that we cannot track all processing on the social media portals. Depending on the provider, the operators of the social media portals may be able to carry out further processing operations. b) Legal Basis

Our social media sites are intended to ensure the widest possible presence on the Internet, which is a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. The analysis processes initiated by the social networks may be based on deviating Legal basis to be provided by the operators of social networks (e.g. consent within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO).

c) Person responsible and assertion of rights

If you visit one of our social media sites (e.g. Facebook), we are jointly responsible with the operator of the social media platform for the data processing processes triggered during this visit. You can assert your rights (information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, data transferability and complaint) both against us and against the operator of the respective social media portal (e.g. against Facebook).

Please note that despite our joint responsibility with the social media portal operators, we do not have full influence on the data processing procedures of the social media portals. Our options are largely based on the corporate policy of the respective provider.

d) Storage Period

The data collected directly by us via the social media presence is deleted from our systems as soon as the purpose for its storage no longer applies, you request us to delete, your consent to storage revoke or the purpose for data storage no longer applies. Stored cookies remain on your end device until you delete them. Mandatory legal provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.

We have no influence on the storage period of your data, which is stored by the operators of the social networks for their own purposes. For details, please contact the operators of the social networks directly (e.g. in their privacy policy, see below).

We have a profile on Facebook. The provider is Facebook Inc, 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, California 94025, USA. Facebook is certified according to the EU-US-PrivacyShield.

We have concluded a joint processing agreement (Controller Addendum) with Facebook. This agreement specifies which data processing operations we or Facebook are responsible for when you visit our Facebook page.
